Fix 4A is working great!!! With computers, most times it's irreversible. Mostly likely your memory card is corrupted, other reasons include system incompatibilities and lack of drivers.

I was fairly sure I put the right screws back in the right place, everything seemed back to normal except for a few scratches.I turned the camera on and a warning Memory Card Error Card Locked I had the CARD LOCKED problem, tried the tooth pick trick and it worked. Thanks.... I sure laugh because of that little switch on my memory card.

But if the camera also has problems with a 2GB SD card, then it's likely that the switch inside the camera's slot is stuck. I had no idea about the switch on the card itself! I formated the card on my PC, afterwards the camera recognizes it as a memorycard and can format it without any problems. amazing! Thank you so much for your tips! If you encounter this issue, your memory card is probably infected with malicious software and your data is hidden.
A typical flash memory card unit has approximately 10,000 write/erase operations. You might only need a simple and inexpensive USB cheap card reader to download your pictures. Thansk, Mrs. Bother my computer and the recovery programs recognize that my memory card is in the drive, but not that it is/contains anything!
