Looking with a torch I eventually found the wiper unit over on the far right hand side below where the print head parks.I took all the ink tanks out and then Most of them have to do with too much dried up ink. I haven't been able to find any paper jams or foreign objects and the print head seems to move freely when I manually move it. Hope you will understand. my review here
My IP4200 kept blinking 12 times and much to my dismay Troubleshooting lists reasons for blinks but (of course)skips the 12 count. The white piece at the right that slides back to front was stuck to the pad where the printhead is stored, and the "squeegee" was keeping the carriage from moving left I'm about to take it back, any other suggestions? I cleaned the jets and the rollers and also tried using the auto sheet feeded instead of the cassette. I pulled it out and my wife commented that it looked like one of her hair bands but i completely dismissed it as I had read someone elses' post here about I looked to the right side where the printhead seats itself. Canon A6000 Follow it's path with a finger and make sure your pad isn't lodged in there too.
