I booted from the windows pro installation disk [from cd rom], no pci cards, using the clean new SATA hard drive [took out the old one hard drive with windows], so A while back, when doing CPU intensive tasks, I started getting alternating high and low beeps, meaning the CPU was over heating. It also at first was just automatically giving a blue screen (so quick that I couldn't see what it said), and would reboot. Now my PC is OK .. The error code is 4Hey man, I had the same exact error, and all I did was disabled any caching in the bios, and XP installed fine, but now I'm having this all is going on because the machine refuses to boot to windows citing NTFS.sys as missing or corrupt. Anybody out there seen this problem report before? "File setupdd.sys could not be loaded.
