I put this camera in my closet for a long period of time already - about 3 years to forget my disappointment. Like many others, I used camerasandparts.com to fix mine. I am not happy. I've tried banging it and blowing on it but nothing is really doing the trick. If you go with a place that knows what they're doing, the camera will be perfect again, sometimes even better as they'll service it all up at the same time. It's giving me an error that says "lens error, restart camera" How do i fix this problem? She pouched the camera without shutting it down and it was then dropped. They just deal with powershot's and they are wonderful at that. Maybe I got lucky, I expected it to take longer but they were very quick for us. Have had to replaced it, so bought a new camera I'm very pleased with, a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS15.
