Yesterday out of the blue I get the locked card error, and I also cannot get any of 3 computers and 3 card readers to read the card. Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Learn more about me. After seeing their process to recover the photos and all the success from customers this was my last option.
I tried to fixed it out, but nothing happens good. And, if anyone else runs into this "Card Locked" error message on their digital camera..... What can i do? I just used the plastic tooth-pick method on my Panasonic ZS10 and it now works fine.

I asked at several independent camera shops and Jessops if they had any ideas to fix it and they all just said 'send it to canon' without even looking at it. Canon Camera Memory Card Locked You may then be able to lift the pins so they make better contact with card. so glad this video exists!
