I don't know what to do. this content I've started the setup, came across initial steps and of course an error showed up :) So I've tried the resolution described above - didn't help. Well there are 5 files that changed from RTM to SP1 1. I simply created a new folder "c:\temp" pointed to that and I am off and running installing 89 updates.

The error message itself says "Component manifest was not found or it is invalid."
