My firefox works but I am unable to download anything on it as it will save as exe file. The one I get a kick out of is to switch on the disable script debugging in the internet explorer. Go online, google Java, flash, and microsoft update website (The official one) and get your machine up to date. The 'Debug script' button opens a window with what looks like HTML, but I can't make heads or tails of that ... Hope it works for you.

Since you're on Windows 7 you can do this. This is faster than opening the Control Panel anyway. the one that is there when IE starts. My own opinion is that it is Microsoft's way of forcing everyone to leave IE 11 and go to Edge.
What seems to have worked is.......since discussing it in this forum it has stopped! BleepingComputer is being sued by Enigma Software because of a negative review of SpyHunter. Respectfully, Brett 5/16/09. Script errors in IE11, especially with some forums and especially with Facebook when using messages or replies.
