Copying older versions of libssl and libcurl3 allowed the program to re-validate the license and launch. Easier, but may bring bugs and other things you don't need or want. 2) Make a static, local compiled qBittorrent with the proper version of openssl. It's a bug in openssl. many people run the client just fine. I think this issue only occurs when running awk, but I will update the post if I notice this behavior with other commands. https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/625 5. It is related to the openssl package. If you just replaced it like I mentioned (chair example), then that can be the cause of the problem. iceblu3710 commented Jun 5, 2013 I have tried to install OpenSSL 1.0.1e but It only installs libcrypto.a and does not generate any shared libraries.

I downloaded openssl-1.0.1.e-3-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz from the archive and took out the libssl.so.1.0.0 & libcrypto.so files and put them into /usr/lib/lightworks. Will a new openssl package be included in 12.04.1? If this package fixes the bug for you, please change the bug tag from verification-needed to verification-done. For libcrypto btw: make distclean ./config shared fPIC make sudo make install One of Ubuntu's annoying features is that if you upgrade a single package by hand the auto updater will It has been reported on Debian Bug tracker but after updates was closed.
Your method did not work for me at first, but you did point me in a good direction. If it does not, change the tag to verification-failed. Copy sent to Debian OpenSSL Team
