in fact, well over half of the one hundred pack has been used successfully with no problem whatsoever. i have had people with really old dvd players not be able to play my movies. Yes No Your rating has been submitted, please tell us how we can make this answer more useful. Here's how that same drive is described on my G5 iMac. Some sense codes and qualifiers are vendor specific and may not be on this table. i mean all they had that would work with my g5 and my burner.
The DVD will appear to finish correctly but when played on my RCA DRC233N standalone player the movie will start to skip 3/4 of the way through the movie. I have had disks which burn fine using the painfully slow drag-drop-trash method built into OS X but then produce this error when using Toast. I'm trying to decide which 8x media to bring back from the mainland in a few weeks. I did a clean install as this should be the best way of upgrading OS X ..
Drive may not be up to speed. 03h--Medium error - Disk media may be defective. Both use OSX. (I presume this is a Mac - based site, but have only just joined and can't find any real pointers...?). Seems to have got sidetracked with video / the wrong DVD/CD brand (I don't think this anything to do with it!) and 'old' systems etc. I'd look into a new burner.
