He bought two new RAM sticks and his computer hasn't had a problem since then. Normally, the two exceptions can be handled serially, however there are several exceptions that cannot be handled serially and in this situation the processor signals a double fault. no matter what i change the power management settings to it will restart the computer if it's inactive for 20 or so min...i tried using windows scan disk on rebooting but System reboots on start-up sometimes two or three times before it settles down.
