I only moved the instance1 databases. Startup parameters were modified to read: -eD:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Log\ERRORLOG; -dE:\SQL\master.mdf; -lL:\SQL\mastlog.ldf All paths are valid and I checked the permissions.
